Bio:
Benedict Sayers is a lighting designer, programmer and technician with a B/A Honours degree in Theatrical Lighting Design from Rose Bruford College, having graduated in the summer of 2022.

Since graduating, Ben has been working hard to grow his portfolio and network in order to sustain a freelance career. Due to this, Ben has grown a love for working with new collaborators and discovering new places.
​
Ben has always had a passion for storytelling and the techniques used to tell stories, in essence believing that his job is to purely aid the telling of a story using light. Either to create a picture image which represents a physical factor like a location/time of day or to create a context or symbolic image.
​
With a love for all forms of creative media, Ben has immersed himself in the production industry. Ranging from Theatre and immersive to TV and beyond, Ben has experience of a range of styles and types of lighting.
​
Ben is an active member of the ALPD and is frequently attending lighting trade-shows in the UK, in order to network with other creatives and suppliers in the industry.
​
In his spare time Ben is an avid sports fanatic who can frequently be found asking anyone if they know the football scores or the result of the F1 race.
